John H. Whitaker Place Assisted Living is a not-for-profit company. The residence and services are designed to offer supportive housing and a full array of assistance to the older person. John H. Whitaker Place is dedicated to treating all persons with dignity, respecting the individuality of all persons and encouraging independence. We strive to provide quality services in an environment that welcomes all races, cultures, religions, and origins. John H. Whitaker Place is directed by a Board of community leaders, health care professionals, and consumers. John H. Whitaker Place was developed by Penacook Assisted Living Facility Inc. supported by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority and the New Hampshire Division of Elderly and Adult Services. John H. Whitaker Place is a model project enabling low and moderate income adults who are in need of assisted living services to receive this new service in the Concord area.
